08:16:2007: New Parts from Fioroni

Fioroni has released several new and exciting parts for the 2007 racing season ranging from new clutch kits to Option Team parts for the Losi 8ight/8ight T.

First up are the new Turbo Sliding clutch kits. Keeping up with the tradition of low maintenance, long lasting, and high power clutches, Fioroni has produced 2 new clutches called Twin Turbo 2007. The main difference between the new and older Twin Turbo clutches is the size split between the 4 shoes. Whereas the older Twin Turbo shoes have a 70/30 thickness split, the new 2007 shoes are a 50/50 split. Each pair of shoes accepts 1 spring, with a standard and optional spring included in each package. Shoes come in the standard black (carbon) material as well as the new blue (glass) material. Also a first for Fioroni, you can purchase the complete setup in one shot instead of buying the flywheel and clutch in separate packages. As always, all Turbo Sliding clutch shoes fit all Turbo Sliding Clutch flywheels.

Next up are the highly anticipated Losi 8ight/8ight T parts. Following the tradition of lightweight, extra durable, and beautiful 6mm shock towers, Fioroni’s front and rear towers for the 8ight buggy are no exception. OT-UR301 and 302 (front/rear)

The new upper steering plate is made of ergal aluminum and adds both looks and strength to the front end assembly. Part # OT-UR303

Replace those plastic suspension mounts and covers with the unique aluminum arm mounts from Fioroni. Using delrin inserts, both toe and anti-squat can be easily and quickly adjusted to any number of positions. Optional inserts available for both front and rear mounts. These mounts completely capture the hinge pins and are built to last.

To improve steering response, try the new stiff servo saver spring. You won’t need to tighten the preload nut as much when using this spring. Part # OT-UR308

Fioroni’s 4mm ergal radio tray stiffener is a great addition to the radio tray assembly. Part # OT-UR305

Last but not least, keep those shock springs where they belong with Fioroni aluminum shock cups. These cups are not just eye candy as they feature longer flanges which minimize the chance of the springs popping out. Part # OT-UR307
